This is a 1993 Harrisburg reprinting, limited to 20,000 copies, of the original 1925 Pennsylvania State Grange Cook Book. Hardcover, 168 pages. Excellent condition.
It's chock full of recipes gathered from the Keystone State's finest grange cooks, including such favorites of the time as Spider Corn Cake, Schnitzenknepp, Baked Macaroni with Cheese and Oysters, Sour Cream Pie, and Shoo Fly Cake. A fascinating glimpse into what was cooking in the kitchens of Pennsylvania's farm families so many years ago.
